The 5 from 50 is the first project that was assigned to us there fore
This is the first picture I choose from the 50 pictures that I had captured of banana. The imgae was captured from the tail side of the banana in a nearly 90 degree in a wide angle. The image was captured near the window so that the lightning would make the image would look more detailed. Due to the light from the window the object, banana blocks the light and shadow is created which adds more soul to the picture. The Central focus of this picture is the tip of the two bananas up front. So to get that I had to go close and zoom up and capture it. The two tip of the banana looks sharp and more detailed where as the rest of the banana is blur, looks soft which makes it look less focus point which was my goal while capturing this image. Even the background is blur and looks soft to make it more less focus point.
The second picture that I chose was shot outside my house. The depth of field shot makes the banana the primary focus and house as the secondary. The picture has sharp focus on banana as it is our main focus where as the house is blurred. The natural lighting of sun helps to get more detail and focus on the banana's right. The back ground is the wall which is blured in all the place. The best thing about the picture is lighting which is bit bright on the main focus and bit dull in the left side. The picture also has a good contrast of light and dark,in the picture you can see the shadows and reflection.
This is the third picture chosen from the 50 pictures that I had captured of Banana. This image was taken in the kitchen during night time.To make more interesting image I decided to capture the picture of only the inside part of banana. After clicking loads of naked banana pictures I was not satisfied so I decided to eat a part of a banana piece and capture a picture of it and after 2 ,3 shots I got this picture. In this picture I tried to capture the image side in a wide angle and get the main focus of the front part of the first banana.I tried to make the main focus point which is the front of the banana more sharper and rest of it blur including the back ground.
The fourth picture chosen from the 50 pictures that I had captured of Banana. The extreme close up of Image is of the head of the banana in an vertical angle. The picture was captured outside, due to which the lightining is very bright. The central focus on this picture is the head of the banana. The central focus is sharp , bright and detailed where as the back ground is blurred, soft and less detailed to make it less important help give more focus to the central focused image.
The fift picture chosen among the 50 pictures taken. The image is of bunch of banana taken outside near the field. The image was captured nearly from 90 degree in an wide angle. In this picture I tried to make the two bananas the main central focus point and the third banana in the back bit less focus point. Due to which in the picture the depth of the two banana in the front is more then the last one. and the back ground after the third is blurred.
Evaluation
5 to 50 was the first project that we did in our As - photography class. My primary objective was to capture 50 pictures of Banana from different angle, location, shots from which we had to pick the 5 best one for the final. while experimenting 50 pictures I had to use lots of ideas to make it look different from each another. My time management while doing this project was good due to which I had enough time to choose the best 5 of 50 earlier and also get feedback on them from my peers and teachers and accordingly i made changes. AS this was my first project when I got my final results I was happy with my final pieces as it came out better than I expected. Overall I really enjoyed doing this project and was happy with my final results.
